Optimised Engineered Lumber (OEL™)

OEL™ is an engineered Glue Laminated (Glulam) wood product for structural applications developed and manufactured by Wood Engineering Technology. It is engineered to have high and tight strength characteristics and remain straight and true in normal conditions.

OEL™ is available 90x45,140x45,190x45,240x45,290x45,340x45,390x45 dimensions in 6 metre lengths. It is provided in full packs only.

OEL™ is manufactured in accordance to AS/NZS 1328 Glued Laminated Structural Timber (AS/NZS 1328) and readily available in Hazard Class H1.2 (Boron).

Hazard Class H3.2 (CCA) is available on special order.

OEL™ is available in grades GL8, GL10 and GL12.

Certification & Compliance

OEL™ is an engineered glue laminated (Glulam) timber, suitable for use as a structural member in timber construction. It is stronger, straighter and more uniform than solid timber and less likely to warp, twist, bow or shrink. It is manufactured in accordance with: AS/NZS 1328:1998 (Glued Laminated Structural Timber) to grades of GL8, GL10 and GL12. It is treated to H1.2, with H3.2 available on special order.
